Review: Chilko Basecamps

Back in January I spent 5 days with Chilko Basecamps on their Pemby Pow trip. Five days at a fly-in basecamp outside Pemberton with chef prepared meals and a guide breaking trail for us. 70cm of slow dumped down on our camp and made for incredible skiing (even if we seemed to be perpetually digging tents out of snow drifts).

Days spent shredding pow and nights spent stuffing our faces in giant dome tents which sheltered us from the raging storm outside.

All in all, it was an incredible experience that I felt super fortunate to get to take part in. You can read my full trip report and review of Chilko over on BigLines.com.

Grumpy, cantankerous, wildly opinionated and so much more! Getting really tired on skis is what makes me happy.
